For over a year now, since the release of the Hello Kitty for MAC collection in February of '09 there has been great suspense and speculation around the rumor mill about there being a Disney Villains for MAC collection. In December of 2005 MAC released the Tint Toons collection featuring Tinted Lip Conditioners with packaging and names dedicated to some of Disney's sweeter side characters; Cleo the goldfish from Pinocchio, Clarice from Chip n' Dale, Miss Bunny (Thumper's lady friend) from Bambi, Tillie Tiger from Disney's mini series called Silly Symphonies, and Daisy Duck. And now after all the rumors and anticipation, the Villains have arrived. The collection is being broken down to fall under the category of 4 Villains; Cruella De Vil, Evil Queen, Maleficent, and Dr. Facilier.

MAC Cosmetics is teaming up with Disney to create a limited edition color collection, intended to launch globally in late September in all MAC locations. The products will feature four Disney characters, on which the brand is keeping mum at the moment — although with a collection name of Venomous Villains, it is assumed that we’re not talking Donald Duck and Minnie Mouse here. I have not been very excited nor happy with MAC's latest collections. This one I am so delighted to see. I'll need to take a deep look into what's in my personal and professional collections and see what I truly need from this Venomous Villians collection. I can already tell you I will go over board. I regretfully passed on A LOT of items/collections that I could have purchased from ahem, Barbie and McQueen. And I am still kicking myself for not getting on it with those collections. THIS ONE THOUGH, I am not messing with. If I even slightly think I need it, it's mine. Looks like I have some saving to do ya'll. Are you guys excited? What are you looking forward to from this?
